Faţadă/Façade

Based on the collaborative art project of the Mallinckrodtstraße workshop on Romani building culture of the same name and the redesign of a building façade in the Nordstadt district of Dortmund in September 2019, the "Faţadă/Façade" exhibition focuses on a special form of architecture that has arisen in Romania, among other places, in the last 30 years.

For this, however, they had to become performance artists themselves.

The international group exhibition will address current right-wing populism that is using the Internet and social media in particular for dissemination. In 1920 the Russian stage director and drama theorist Nikolai Evreinov was commissioned to reenact the taking of the Winter Palace for the third anniversary of the revolution. The storming itself had never occurred in the form presented here.
